KETI Academy is committed to helping students discover and grow to reach their God‑given potential in both academics and character. We believe in nurturing the whole child through joyful learning and strong values.
Located in Wolkessa, Asella, we offer Nursery and Kindergarten at KETI 1 Academy and Grades 1–8 at KETI 2 Primary School. Our experienced teachers, caring staff, and supportive community create a safe, inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

Welcome to KETI Academy’s learning community. We are delighted that you visited our site and are exploring what we do. We welcome your feedback on how to make our school better.
We are living in a time where many ask, “What can I do to contribute positively to the educational crisis our nation is facing today?” We believe one solution is to invest in preschool and primary education by establishing quality learning environments, employing qualified and well‑compensated staff, and resourcing schools well.
Having grown up in this country, I felt I could not stay on the sidelines. That is why we established KETI Academy — to complement, not compete with, local schools. We have set high standards for teaching and learning at KETI. We invite you to visit us, volunteer, and encourage our dedicated teachers and support staff.

Instructional Philosophy & Focus
We engage the whole child — spirit, mind, body, and soul — through caring relationships, high expectations, and meaningful learning.
Class Size: Classes do not exceed 25 students to allow individualized attention and strong student–teacher interaction.
Engaged: Learning is active — observing, doing, and dialogue based on MOE guidelines to encourage participation and production.
Well‑balanced: We nurture responsible, accountable, and productive learners who celebrate their identity and adapt to a changing world.
Love: Love anchors everything we do — cultivating care for nature and science, a love of learning, and respect for every child’s dignity.
On‑Ramp: Strong early education equips children to think critically and ethically. We emphasize STEAM learning across subjects.
High Impact & Expectations: Learning extends beyond textbooks. We expose students to enriching experiences and expect every child to perform on or above grade level.
Whole Person: We see children as human beings made in the image of a loving God and nurture them holistically.
Heritage: We encourage love for national and international heritage, unity within Ethiopia’s diversity, and care for the environment.
